I always figured Smokey the bear should have a brother named Drinky the bear, and Smokey would drink too much but never touch anything on fire, while Drinky would smoke like a chimney but never touch the booze.

In the first strip, you see the bear, the girl, and the reflection of the bear. In the second panel, all you see is the bear; and the fourth panel, there's no reflection.

Still funny.

Glass reflects only at certain angles... Clearly the three panels are not from the same angle. And beside, the bear's right hand is partially reflected in the fourth.

There's a science to all this, you know!

Bears don't speak English and are also unlikely to want cigarettes, because they probably can't smoke them anyway.

EXPLANATION: The bear became a vampire between the first and second panels. Additionally, in panel two, the girl was so spooked at the thought of a talking bear that she leaped horizontally backwards eight feet.
