It's so obvious! Clearly, Reginald is secretly terrified, deep down inside, of his friends betraying him. The Bearshark represents Beartato and Harrison banding together against Reginald. Reginald saying "I can never stop screaming" probably represents the fact that Reginald can never stop screaming.
Subconsciously. Because he rarely screams out loud.
