What Reginald doesn't realize is that by writing it down he has opened the portal.

I think it was when he was screaming
oh shit i had that same dream
These are truly the scrawlings of a madman
Is it a mammal? I need to know!
Will it win against itself in a fight?
If there was a bearshark fight, all of us would lose.

Surely Beartato can get his cousin to call off the hit?
Also, the use of colour there reminds me of that Lovecraft story.
That was a very obscure reference, and I consequently find it to be very funny. That's how humor works. :-)
Something in my mind just gave way.
A close relation to a Sea Bear

Sometimes a bearshark is just a bearshark.
wow, ol' reg has some drawrin' skills!
The bones of a beached Beartato. Truely a sad sight.
I'm glad so many of us have had the bearshark dream. Now I don't feel so alone.
You are one of the Chosen
You can never return to your old life
It's so obvious! Clearly, Reginald is secretly terrified, deep down inside, of his friends betraying him. The Bearshark represents Beartato and Harrison banding together against Reginald. Reginald saying "I can never stop screaming" probably represents the fact that Reginald can never stop screaming.
Subconsciously. Because he rarely screams out loud.

It's the brother of the Bear Holding a Shark!
But what of the dreaded Sharktato?
Reminds me of BEAR WITH SHARK HEADS FOR HANDS
I think everyone's missing the important part; Reginald drew in color.
That's what I was thinking. A monochrome comic and somehow Reginald draws in many tones of colour.
Reginald is so full of questions, he put on actual weight.
How dare you! It is simply an unflattering angle.
