In addition, Mr. Chris Hastings has uploaded this image of a print that will be available at the TITANS OF SMALL TOWN show this weekend. I did the colors! It took several boxes of high-quality Crayola crayons.

I wish you would do tutorials. Not like, straight-out "Follow these steps and you can have a dog at the end," but like... tips and tricks in Photoshop for those of us who are uninitiated.

Nope, these are all Photoshop. The first two just make heavy use of the Dissolve brush setting.

That first drawing feels... well, perfect for use as an iPhone wallpaper. I cut one out of it.



It's a straight 320x480 crop with zero editing otherwise.

Here's a shot of it in use on my phone!



If you're not okay with this usage or want me to take it down, I totally will. I respect your rights to your product. Just thought it'd be neat to share with you something nifty that came of it.

I'm curious how you did the last one. PSCS? Did you use some special square brush that aligns depending on which way you're brushing? MY MIND!

It is a simple matter! In the Brush settings palette, under Shape Dynamics, set the Angle Jitter to "Direction." It will make the brush change direction to match your stroke.
